Is Perfectly Posh All Natural?

Once a week I would like to do a write up in a little bit of detail about some general Posh information. I have seen some questions, concerns, bad reviews etc on this particular issue so I am going to address it as best as I can.

Perfectly Posh is "Naturally Based"

Being Naturally Based is different than All Natural. If a product is claiming to be "all natural" that would mean it is using natural preservatives that are not always known and substantiated as safe or have no preservatives at all. A product without preservatives at all would not be able to be kept for very long at all. It lowers the shelf life immensely and would need refrigerated. That would make it hard for A LOT of beauty products and would make it hard to justify as a consumer because you would need to buy everything in much smaller quantities so it wouldn't go bad before you used it. Mold, bacteria, fungi and the like can make you incredibly sick. Everyone knows that, so that's not a shock in the list.

Perfectly Posh does use preservatives. They strive to use only ingredients as stripped down as they can. As close to the earth as possible. Full of essential oils and and extracts and vitamins. It has no fillers. No Parabens. No sulfates. Lots of vegan options. It does however have safer preservative options. You can view more general info about Perfectly Posh Ingredients HERE and also you can view every ingredient in every product in detail at the back of THE CATALOG. IF you have particular concerns over something you see I highly suggest you contact Home Office and keep us posted.

Personal care products is one of the least regulated industries in the US, which is crazy to me! The things you use on your body and your skin are absorbed so much so it is actually quite scary! Hopefully more tests and studies will be done in the future so we can find out the true effects of all of these scary ingredients. HERE is a little bit of info about the Laws and Regulations. I do think it is great to inform yourself on the good and the bad in beauty products for sure, but remember that there is a huge group of people who love scare tactics. I think that that is sad. I am all for being transparent and open and I think that's the best thing a company can do. So far, Perfectly Posh has seemed to be that way so definitely give them a call if you see an ingredient listed anywhere that concerns you!

As I learn more and study more research I will do more posts about this, but I do hope this was at least a little bit helpful in knowing what the difference is and why you will NEVER hear me say Perfectly Posh is all natural.

  1. Hi. I'm a Perfectly Posh consultant. I'm new to it all. Would I be able to use the information on natural products in my FB posts?

  2. Hey Emily! Congrats on starting with Posh!! I am no longer a consultant but I so love the products!! <3 I hope you love it and rock it out!! You are welcome to talk about the natural products in your FB posts for sure, but it was made clear to me to make sure you focus on the fact that they are pampering products and not meant to be health products or anything. If you have any questions I would contact your upline or ask in the Posh group or hit up my girl Brooke! https://www.perfectlyposh.com/brookewiller Good luck!

  3. I noticed several dyes in the product. There would be transdermal absorption, any information on the safety of that? I wish things could just be dye free.

    2. They only use food grade good colouring to color their products. And it doesn't absorb transdermally, according to a training video i watched yesterday from home office.
